My hero Dee Poole

My wife has just retired from 5 years in the leadership of the Rhode Island Patriot Guard, 4 years as the State Captain. She has given more time, hugs and Love to the families of our RI heroes than any other I know. She supported the family from the moment the request came in to the years the foundations, in the name of their lost relative usually, needed support. She never just said "well that Mission is over" and left them to their own devices. I am so proud to have been her choice to spend the rest of our lives together. The picture is her receiving a commendation from Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts in recognition of her dedication to the Veterans and their families of our state and years of service. The 2nd picture is of her and another member during the 2009 Wreaths Across America Ceremony at the Ponagansett Middle School. She truly is a special lady, Loves our country and dedicated to our military.
