The hail stone (in between the tennis ball and softball) fell in Seminole, Texas during a severe thunderstorm on the evening of June 18, 2008. It wasn't the largest hailstore, but was the safest one we could reach. The beautiful young lady is my niece, Sarah.

Saved while fishing

This poor little squirrel was spotted while we were boating treading water, in the middle of the Lake. He looked relieved to be rescued by our fishing net and placed on dry land.

Lightning Strike Between Two Rainbows

This picture was taken on Aug 10, 2008 in Lexington Park MD at 7:19 PM off the deck of my apartment. The sun was shining during a thundershower and two side by side rainbows developed. Upon taking the picture lightning struck between the two rainbows creating a once in a lifetime shot.

Double Beauty in the Finger Lakes

I live in Geneva NY on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, on June 18, 2008 we had been having brief showers roll through, big dark clouds with spots of sunshine. I was driving home shortly before 8pm and looking south down Seneca was a beautiful rainbow, by the time I stopped my car another appeared! The colors were beautiful against the dark clouds and the dark lake.
