This Made Me Happy!

In celebration of our 25th anniversary, my wife surprised me with a 2010 silver Corvette, presented at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. This is the kind of stimulus we need, at least we get something in return. Surprisingly, as a 60% owner of GM, none of my employees treated me any different, nor did we get any special deals. Either way, it still made both my wife and me happy.

My Miracle Baby

All I ever wanted was to be a mommy. Eleven years ago doctors told me it was not possible without surgery. My husband and I decided that was not for us. Then, in January 2008 we found out that we were going to be parents. On 9/28/08 our baby boy was born. He is the light of our life. It doesn't matter if he is laughing, sleeping or even crying everything he does makes me happy.

My Paris Dream Trip

On Christmas 2007, I opened an simple white envelope from my grandma and enclosed was a trip to Paris with my cousin. We are the only two female grandchildren and we are not married and she said we needed to experience the world before we got married and had kids. I have loved Paris since I was in French class in high school and words cannot express the excitement, anxiety, confusion, gratitude, and pure shock that I felt when I realized where I would be spending a week of my life.

Spring Break 2009

This pictures makes me happy because it shows my two daughters and two of their friends celebrating life. Three of these girls graduate from high school in May and I am very thankful to have had this special time with them as we went on vacation to Virginia Beach, VA. My daughter has decided to join the Marines and leaves for boot camp on August 10th; so this picture as well as the feeling I have when I look at this picture is very special to me. It is going to be hard to let go, but I am PROUD!
